Be the stars of your own epic film
Imagine having a professional movie set as the backdrop for your wedding photos. Choose this package and Toei Uzumasa Eigamura, the famous film studio located in Kyoto, could be the setting of your own cinematic ceremony. With everyone around you dressed in kimono and sporting chonmage topknot hairstyles, while samurai strut about as they did 400 years ago, you can re-create a scene from history—or from a period movie like The Last Samurai, starring Tom Cruise.
This is a plan that offers you the chance to become the heroes or heroines of your own personal movie, right in the very place where numerous well-known films have been made. Here, you can choose the role of your liking—from shogun warlords to samurai warriors or princesses—and don the costume, wig, and makeup to go with it.
After a short ceremony that includes vows and a kiss, the two of you can make your foray into the town, passing samurai and ninjas alike as you walk along. It will feel like you have been transported back in time to an age long past. You may even get to see a real movie filming in progress. There is a feature corner where you have the option of trying a training session in ninjutsu, the fighting arts of the ninja. You will also find souvenirs like ninja costumes and katana cell phone charms.
This plan focuses heavily on making your wedding movie and you’ll have an exclusive movie director by your side throughout to capture the cinematic memory in take after glorious take. This isn’t just any old wedding with photos, but a cinema wedding, so you will be sure to get tons of great reactions when you show your friends and loved ones back home.
